ScanTo3D we provide a bureau service using laser scanning technology for 3D Data Capture, Reverse Engineering and 3D Measurement/Inspection. This technology can be used in a wide variety of industries as part of the design process to capture 3D data. This 3D data can then be used to create 3D surfaces to be able to Re-Manufacture Parts that have been hand-crafted or legacy parts where drawings are no longer available. This same 3D data would also enable being able to provide inspection for complex free-form shapes where conventional co-ordinate measurement techniques may be impractical. ScanTo3D we utilize the Romer 7-Axis arm with the Perceptron V5 Laser to conduct all scanning and digitising. Polyworks software is used to create 3D surfaces from the data or to produce inspection reports. The portability of our equipment means that we can provide our scanning service at your site. We also have full 3D Cad facilities.
